San Francisco’s stay-at-home order, which was tentatively expected to lift as of January 7 2021, has been extended “indefinitely,” Mayor London Breed and Director of Health Dr. Grant Colfax announced Thursday
San Francisco’s Department of Emergency Management on December 31, the officials wrote that “due to ongoing regional ICU capacity limitations and continuing increase of cases, San Francisco does not expect the Bay Area will meet the State’s thresholds for lifting the order” by January 7.
Even after the region’s ICU bed numbers allow the stay-at-home order to be lifted, the city might still be shut down, Breed and Colfax say. “Once the State lifts its Regional Stay at Home order,” only then will SF “reassess the key health indicators to determine if they support relaxing the current restrictions on businesses and activities, and resuming the measured re-opening process,” they say. In other words, even after the state says that activities like outdoor dining can resume, San Francisco might continue to restrict restaurants to takeout and delivery.
One reason San Francisco might keep the stay-at-home in place is that, so far, it seems to be working. “Though cases continue to climb, they are increasing at a slower rate than when the orders were implemented,” the city said via statement. “As a result of our collective actions, more than 400 deaths may have prevented.”
“We have been proactive in putting the stay at home order and travel quarantine in place to protect San Franciscans and in the hopes that by acting quickly, we could flatten the curve and re-open faster,” Breed says. “This seems to be working but we need more time to determine that we are moving in the right direction and that the December holidays don’t set us back. .”

Good! Give the voters the full leftist treatment.
Slower rate, because the election is over, there's cold wet weather and you no longer have 30,000 thick demonstrations going on which you didn't stop and didn't enforce close contact rules. Bunch of liberal buffoons killing commerce in the city.
There must be bodies everywhere.
If the Democrat thieves can get you to ignore your own senses, then they can steal you blind.
Perhaps a conversation about requiring health care facilities to obtain a “Certificate of Need” before being built or expanded or obtaining certain equipment is long past due.
Said action to be enforced by Leftist D.A. Jethro Bodine.
Coronavirus PING!
We, well most, foolishly believed lockdowns were a temporary couple of weeks thing to "flatten the curve." Obviously not as here we are 28 weeks later still suffering under random and obviously in-effective lockdowns.
I no-longer believe the lockdowns are temporary. Too many mentions of "the new normal." This isn't the be-all end-all of the fascists' plans. These are just the first steps. I believe next, or soon, will be brown shirts (modern day brown shirts, who knows what quasi uniform they'll don) demanding today's equivalent of papers at State borders and random checkpoints intra-state. Sure, they'll start off merely asking for proof of vaccination or negative tests or some such. Want to cross into CA? Show me your vaccination record. Want to board the aircraft? Show me the vaccination record or negative test within the past 72 hrs. Want to go into that sporting event... Want into that grocery store...
Then that will morph into full-on tracking of everyone's whereabouts, travels, and interactions - "to help prevent the spread of the new, more virulent strain ..." or whatever BS they make up that week.
This isn't over, this isn't getting better. It only gets worse from here UNTIL WE PUSH BACK. We should push back now, because it's only going to get harder and uglier.
The ICU stats need to be audited — by people who are not allied with Fauci.
“This isn’t over, this isn’t getting better. It only gets worse from here UNTIL WE PUSH BACK. We should push back now, because it’s only going to get harder and uglier.”
Too many Americans relish the fear, enjoy being controlled. If I push back, I’ll simply be crushed. So, I’ll enjoy seeing the indignities piled onto the compliant sheep.
Grant Colfax the Director of Public Health is suffering like the rest of us during the pandemic. He feels your pain.

“We’re all in this together.”
Is is sad, they would be better off letting Americans make their own decisions.
Survival of the Fitness Law: Americans do not need government tell them what to do. When a family sees a family member get sick or it kills a relative they will take precautions.
Americans are grown ups and can make their own decisions base on what they see around themselves. If the virus is not in your area there is no need to lock down. If you see people getting sick stay home.
Wish they could lock Nancy Pelosi down. Give her free range to the salon and the ice cream store. But keep her out of Washington D.C.
“due to ongoing regional ICU capacity limitations and continuing increase of cases”
Is anybody gonna make them prove this? I keep seeing citizen journalist videos showing nearly empty hospitals...
I’ve been watching the blog posts of a black man who skateboards around San Fran. He shows the closed hotels and restaurants. He talked about outdoor dining. He said you might pull it off for a few hours at mid day, but by evening the wind and fog make it impossible. He talks about how the rents are dropping and the stores are mostly closed. He skateboards at noon and there are hardly any cars on the roads. He mentioned that he sees people moving out daily.
The place looks like a setting for an after-the-apocalypse movie.
Does that mean the bath houses and strip clubs are closed?
Send me his link
I’m in the city once or twice a week and he’s right.
I could show you a scary as hell photo of Macy’s 4 days before Christmas, at noon and there is one person walking in front of the store.
Luv his silky voice
watched his Bayview vid.
He is on Bayshore Blvd and it should be very busy.
It ain’t
