The United States government's mass incarceration system just lost them their case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange
So, the judge agrees that he has been properly charged with a crime, and that the crime would also be a crime in the UK, that the prosecution is not politically-motivated, and that he'll receive a fair trial. But she denies extradition because he might go to prison? Look, I'm not really in favor of prosecuting Assange, either, but if the UK can deny extradition on these grounds, then why do we have an extradition treaty with them at all?
Also, the idea that we have a "mass incarceration system" is a leftist trope. We have a lot of incarceration because we have a lot of violent and habitual criminals.
She denied it because she thinks he will commit suicide
A prosecution in the US under the current D’ohJ would mean he’d be Epsteined within a week.
