I have an electric one of those and it works quite well. Of course I’m tethered to the electrical outlet in the garage but I have two 12-guarge extension cords.
If you’re thinking of an electric I’d recommend it but buy the one with the most power you can find.
Heh, I am hoping I don’t need to buy another one before my snowblowing days are over...
The one I have had going on twenty years now is an 8 HP Toro, and it still does the work. Good thing, too, since my back is so lousy...
I don’t think I would buy an electric one, but...that technology has probably changed so much since I last tried one, so you never know.
