Most gyros are lamb/ beef mixed, probably because lamb is expensive. I just make it with ground lamb.

I have some ricotta and cream cheese, I’ve been reading some Italian cheesecake recipes that have both in them. How do you think they’d be?

From what I’ve read, using the ricotta mixed in would make the texture more ‘cakey’. One description said ‘drier’.

Never had it that way that I can recall. I’m sure I would scarf it down either way. 😁
