I think we all know why. Dementia patients need a lot of care.
He is just asking the question to get the discussion started.

Oh, definitely. A few times she’s whispered words to him, coaching him. She “steers” his body when he goes places. I remember that time he was finished with his speech and then just stood at the podium looking around in a daze. She came and got him and steered him away.
The leftist reasonings I’ve seen is she loves him and wants to be around him.
My reasoning is she knows he has dementia or other health issues and needs someone to assist and correct if needed.
