The great Andrew Breitbart used to say that politics is downstream from culture.
There is no more simple and direct way to engage in culture for the average person than a large protest. I mean, unless you own a huge part of CNN or some other institution, but I know I don't. So as an individual without a large institution, the single best daily weapon is the protest. The media also fear conservative protests. That makes us more powerful than them.
And I'll keep saying it. It's in the constitution for a reason. The Founders WANTED us to be doing this. So that's helpful to have such good role models in the matter.
That points the point on the huge vacuum that gets created by the lack of action. Someone is going to fill it. If it's that important to you, you'll find a way to take time off.
I’m not against protests at all. It’s just not as easy to take off and travel for people who aren’t living on the dole and don’t have Soros to pay the fares/meals.
