Just one of the many reasons I no longer watch football.

It used to be just hockey that people expected brawls to break out on the ice. Part of their allure and entertainment. Hockey used to be kind of the red-headed step child of professional sports and had a reputation for fights to happen.

But Major League Baseball is the same now.

You see these bench/dugout clearing melee's over a player trash talking another or a fight breaks out when a batter gets hit with a pitch or a baseline runner thinks he was tagged out too forcefully. Like a bunch crybabies.

These are professionals. Grown men acting like testosterone enraged teenagers. It looks ridiculous and it's embarrassing.

I may be wrong but you don't see much fighting in the NBA. I don't know why because it is a pretty physical game with a lot of trash talking going on.

Football players have too much protective gear on for fighting on the field to be effective. But it happens.

I am not a professional sports fan because I've thought for a long time that it's just a bunch of thugs playing a game.
