Even if Sen. Hawley does object to the slate of EC electors, what good will it do?

My understanding, they’ll debate, give testimony as to election fraud...then they’ll vote to approve...it’s over.

Also, seems at this stage of the game, the only real avenue to object to states electors is the state legislatures themselves.

Aside from GA and PA...I’ve not heard or read any movement from state legislatures.

Then let it happen with a bunch of loud Deplorables surrounding the building. Hopefully with torches and pitchforks.

that’s generally my feeling as well. but Mitch is making a huge fuss, so I’m sure it is worth doing.

I think Mitch and the RINOs wanted to wait on the voter fraud issue until Trump was safely out of office. Then they could hype the dead, out of state, underage voting etc , destabilize Biden/Kamala, raise money from naive MAGA etc etc.

With Hawley making a fuss now, Mitch and the RINOs have to vote it down. Makes it harder to exploit the issue once Trump is out.
