I'll be taking a little "hiatus/sabbatical", and will be away from
Free Republic for a short while, but I wanted to wish you all
the very best.   I hope that all people of good will here have a
very blessed, productive, rewarding, and fulfilling new year.
(Here's some music to enjoy, including my first pick always
for "Auld Lang Syne".)   Take care, and God bless you!

"Auld Lang Syne" - Guy Lombardo And His Royal Canadians

"Detroit City" - Bobby Bare

"Goodbye, Jimmy, Goodbye" - Ruby Murray

"500 Miles" - Peter, Paul, & Mary

"He Was A Friend Of Mine" - Dave Van Ronk

"Old Black Joe" - Robert Shaw Chorale

"Sentimental Journey" - Doris Day

"We'll Meet Again" - Vera Lynn

"Walkin' In Jerusalem" - Gaithers

"Rock A My Soul" - Nana Mouskouri

"Wonderful Words Of Life" - Joslin Grove Choral Society

"Lord, I'm Coming Home" - Gaithers

"Goodbye, Jimmy, Goodbye" - Ruby Murray

Although Ruby's version is my favorite, this version was the bestseller on this side of the Atlantic.
