I had my annual checkup today, I asked the doctor what the plan is if I contract CoVid. I am in pretty good health, but could stand to lose 10 pounds. I take only one prescription medication which is for my restless legs. I can certainly live without it, but it makes the night easier on my husband. I don’t kick him as often, and he appreciates that! (I do not know that I’m doing it when it happens.)
The doctor told me he just waits and sees how CoVid progresses for each patient, because it isn’t that bad for people my age (60j and in my condition (reasonably good health). I’m right there with him, except that I think I should do something more than nothing if I do get CoVid. We are already taking Vitamin C, D3, Zinc, and quercetin daily. So I guess our plan includes trying to get well on our own, but calling the second it gets worse.
If exposed, or at first sign of symptoms take the first dose, do not wait for test results. Make sure to take the second dose on day three. My wife and I have taken this three times over the last couple of months, with no issue, other than the grapefruit warning.
She is a P.A., worked in everything from AIDS clinics to psych wards and done years of death investigation. She has seen it all. She is a “ health nut”, cancer survivor, and fastidious about medical protocol.
She isn't about to turn her health over to the death-cult advice of the CDC which controls your doctor.
That is our opinion and experience, not “medical advice”. You get to decide for yourself. The CDC is not your friend.
See, that’s the issue I have with the doctors during this pandemic. The wait and see approach?
Since when do we ‘wait and see’? We have always said:
‘at the first sign of a cold or flu, do this, see the doctor.’
Now they are telling us to do NOTHING?
