Clearly, this guy was not responsible enough to own and operate a penis and testicles anyway.
The sentence kind of fits the crime, in a roundabout way.

While gender dysphoria, the persistent and painful identification with the gender opposite one’s biological sex, is real, it remains an open question as to whether or not transgender identity is the right course of treatment for it.
Identifying as the opposite sex is "painful"? I don't think so... Maybe some mental anguish due to the body knowing that what you're trying to think is wrong, but "painful" is not the right term to use here.
But after what he did to his daughter, I'm all for a taxpayer-funded chopoffadikatomy, but he doesn't need anything further...

That is exactly what this guy is afraid of and why its just a matter of self-preservation for him to forego his nads in order to maintain his pulse.
It shouldn't be the case that going to prison necessarily means you will get gang raped. Conservatives shouldn't be all ecstatic about the prospect that felons who are given light sentences by liberal judges at least get penalized with gang rape.
Do we really want criminals coming out of prison with the additional craziness associated with PTSD from gang rape?
