If you think McConnell is on the average guys side, here’s food for thought, from today:
Fox News, Dec 29: McConnell blocks quick vote on Trump’s $2K checks

But it does look like McConnell is making some trades.
That's the game, and the first qualification for entry is to be a sociopath.
Lots of Senate Rs are afraid they’ll be hurt by tech’s 230 protection.
Lots of Senate Rs are afraid they’ll be hurt by Trump Voters if they don’t do something for the President.
Mitch has offered a good stew for them!
Yeah, just cutting and pasting but this is the heart of what Mitch’s job is.
And needs to be repeated on all these threads until people think.
Admit it likely won’t work, just get people realizing that the Dems would rather protect their crooked elections and their tech donor’s profits even if it cost their voters 1400 bucks.
Why would a guy worth $30,000 000 care or even feel compassion for the rest of US.
It’s not known as the District of Corruption for nothing.
Sen. Mitch has done an admirable job over the years, esp. lately with lining up a tranche of judges to fulfill Trump’s desire to “re-take the judiciary from the Democrats.” Now comes you with incomplete information ready to string the guy up. I vote in favor of gathering more information and allowing some time to pass before skewering him.
Goid point.
Have you any thoughts on McConnell telling the world the Republicans in the Senate will not challenge elector votes on Jan 6 from the contested swing states?
Can we “string the guy up” for this?
“Can we “string the guy up” for this?”
Make up your own mind and let me know your thoughts and reasoning.
