Aha! I recently learned we yanks are pronouncing it wrong. We say Gooo-da. In the Netherlands, where it originated, it’s pronounced Gow-da. FWIW. That would be according to The Incredible Dr. Pol, the veterinarian from Holland, via Central Michigan....er, sumthin’ like ‘at.
