We joke, but the precedent has been set. There will be no end to these payments. Don't raise taxes, just hand out free money. Its popular on all fronts.

Don't get me wrong, I am a hypocrite. I won't send my money back. But I do think that we are turning a dangerous corner here.

I mostly don’t care about payments to individuals and businesses since it is just returning stolen money (taxes). I wish that it could be limited to people who actually paid taxes. And I got a 300k in PPP forgivable loan for my business— a small fraction of the millions paid in corporate income tax.
