She and her husband intentionally defrauded USC.

She and her husband went through this process of submitting phony applications just so they could have the “privilege” of paying the full cost of a USC education for their kids.

How does any of this constitute fraud if USC didn’t lose a penny — and probably got far more money out of the deal than they would have gotten if they had admitted someone else instead of these kids?

Color it with whatever you want....they committed a crime and got caught doing so...along with about 20 others who were also caught.
