I have always wanted to have a way of helping people. I feel that sharing Jesus in a way that takes Him out of rigid religion and that brings Him to the very heart of people is needed.
Mary and Martha were Jesus's friends. Their brother Lazarus died. Jesus was heading their way, but in His own time. When Mary came out to see Jesus, she said, “Lord, if you had been here my brother would not have died”.
Jesus wept, the smallest verse in the bible had the greatest impact on me. The people who raised me told me I had no value. Jesus brought His love to my heart, He warmed me with value and worth.
Jesus went to where Lazarus was buried and called him to come back to life from the dead. Lazarus walked out, but was still bound in burial wrappings, unwrap Him. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead showing the world that He had the power to do so. Jesus calls to every heart, “Come to me, I am with you at the very place where you need me:.
By trying to destroy my self esteem my parents thought they had a servant they could control. What I love about the Godhead is they had the power to make people do what was best for them, but their love gave mankind the free will to choose. Until I was married I never went to a buffet, not having known the pleasure of freedom to choose my own food..
Americans are a unique breed . We have eaten at the freedom buffet. As it appears, some want to steal our resources. We have something that won't be stolen, our freedom loving wild spirit.
The gift Jesus gave me was the ability to love myself; to see that I was a unique creation and that I could create a lovely peaceful atmosphere within the borders of my heart and home.
When the love of power and money controls someone what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but looses his own soul? We have seen how some covet the valuable people of America for unfair gain and leverage. Beware when you come to steal, you may meet the force you won't defeat.
What one values, they defend. This is our homeland, America is our love, our great friend!

Matthew 8
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
That includes Mary.
This is also one of several examples in the New Testament that proves “Reverend” Warnock wrong that you can’t serve God and the military.

Mary wasn’t wrong. Mary was grieving. You fail to notice that she was not rebuked by Jesus. He understood her words in her moment of such deep grieving.
It provided Jesus the opportunity to reveal His great gift of life in the physical sense.
Mary would be in this instance, like the blind man Jesus healed. Both acts were to reveal the love and power of Jesus.

Unfortunately, I am one of those Christians who tend to see in black and white. As a Lost person, a grey path was way to easy to follow. As a Lost person I was so far on the left that once I was saved it was as if I was moved way over to the other side.
I truly appreciate your missives.
