"Bridgerton,” the new series based on Julia Quinn’s romance novels and developed by hitmaker Shonda Rhimes and showrunner Chris Van Dusen for Netflix, is a Christmas cookie of a show — a sugary, sparkly treat that serves as a comfort in a grim winter. I love this book series. I own both the books and e-books.
I would never watch this travesty.

Thanks 🙂
I think I will probably love the books 👍

Thanks 😀
One of the casting people or directors said they inserted black actors...like the one playing the Queen.....because that’s “the way it should have been” 🙄

I watched one episode of this phony thing and it was so ridiculous that there’s no need to watch any more.
I watched a few episodes this weekend. Queen Charlotte shows up at some soriee with an afro three feet in diameter. Frankly, I can’t believe I made it that far - bored to tears I guess.
Watching movies..good one only..and no commercials
“...a large female fanbase.”
So, is the fanbase large or are the females?
Or both?
