I knew an African guy(Kenya) who thought black Americans were like “untouchables” and they came from the lowest levels of society in Africa. That’s how they ended up slaves. We had to take him out of hiring processes because he was so prejudiced against them.
But he felt that way about most of eastern Africa as well who he considered to be “riotous cannibals”. Strange dude.
I've never seen that stated like this but it makes a lot of sense. One of my neighbors is from Nigeria and he's got nothing but disdain for the boys in the 'hood.
Well, in my experience a lot of those so-called ‘lowest level’ who became slaves grew up to be, and reproduced, sterling and often brilliant Americans, who have contributed greatly to our society and history.
