Better be careful with that....sounds pretty close to unlawful restraint. That’s what put oj simpson in jail.
Having said that if enough restaraunt owners rebel they can’t control it.
unlawful restraint probably applies only to people, not to unoccupied parked vehicles.
i imagine that the guy’s truck gets towed.
the cops are trying to “take control of the situation” by having the guy move from one spot to another. pathetic. if the lady had not been real time videotaping, the guy probably would have gotten a beat down by the male cops (and the female cop would have gotten a gold star towards her next promotion to a desk job).
As long as he can walk away, it is not unlawful restraint.
