unlawful restraint probably applies only to people, not to unoccupied parked vehicles.
i imagine that the guy’s truck gets towed.
the cops are trying to “take control of the situation” by having the guy move from one spot to another. pathetic. if the lady had not been real time videotaping, the guy probably would have gotten a beat down by the male cops (and the female cop would have gotten a gold star towards her next promotion to a desk job).
I worked with a guy that owned a rental property that the renters were behind on rent. He got word they were bugging out and drove over and blocked their moving van with his vehicle in an attempt to recoup his back rent.....cops came and told him to move his vehicle or HE was going to jail. Unbelievable.
