That was interesting. And a little creepy. And to be honest, I was hoping to see historical figures fighting each other. Maybe a boxing match between recreated Julius Caesar and recreated Abraham Lincoln.

Maybe that will come later.

The mouth movements seemed artificial for some reason. Too slow maybe, or not matching the rest of the facial expressions. Other than that, it’s amazing. Elizabeth I doesn’t look anything like Cate Blanchett, And Henry VIII shows no resemblance to Richard Burton.

I fully admit to watching that movie.

I just HAD to. Now, I am NOT a “vampire” or “zombie” enthusiast at all. Last vampire movie I watched was “Count Yorga, Vampire” back in the early Seventies.

My brother and I were watching a rented movie, and one of the previews shows Abraham Lincoln, in full stovepipe hat and suit, standing on top of a train plummeting off of a massive burning bridge, swinging a huge axe over his head in wide circles...

Heh, I turned to my brother and said “I have to watch that.”

I just marveled that someone could actually think up and turn this stuff out. It was indeed a bad movie, but...I had to watch it.

Kind of the same way I had to watch “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”.

It’s a Tim Burton movie....

As would be expected a little dark....

Unlike “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” this was a decently budgeted movie and reflects it.....

Perhaps some day our Children will listen to Rush comment on the latest goings on in DC?

Too bad the painting of Anne Boleyn is believed to have been painted 6 or 7 years after her death. There is a prototype for a coin that was struck in 1534 that features Anne.

There is also a ring that is claimed to have been owned by Elizabeth I. The ring opens up to show painted likenesses of Elizabeth and her mother.

The AI needs to be tweaked to not take stylized stuff like giant eyes and super high brows on women in tudor paintings and try to make them those proportions on a ‘real’ model. Ann Bolyn at 3:20 is a good example of what I’m talking about. Just makes her look creepy in that ‘uncanny valley’ way.

No way you’re gonna tell me that Cleopatra didn’t look like Liz Taylor or Genghis Khan like John Wayne.

Shows you how much better dentistry was in England before socialized medicine.
