As anybody who read the book, Harold is a young Stephen King, in this adaptation.
Maybe it isn't the fields.
It stars Steven Weber as Jack Torrance and Rebecca De Mornay as Wendy. I think it came out in 1998.
IMDB says 1997.
We are liking the show.
They are doing an out of order time sequence a la Pulp Fiction, which changes things by spoiling storylines; but I already know the story so that’s okay. For people new to the story; this was a terrible choice IMO.
Whoopie is doing just fine as MA; at least so far.
The Walking Dude actor has played scary roles before. So far he is Mr Nice Guy so we will see.
Larry is black instead of white. Who cares. The character is still a good character.
If you read the stand and liked it; check out the show. It could turn out to be carp; but episodes 1 and 2 are good.
Maybe so but I will not give any countable views to anything WG is in. Now, I may see it another way but....for now, nope, just cannot.
I am going to look at IMDB to see who all is playing who, though. lol
PS Stu did not steal Frannie from Harold. She never wanted him. Harold believed because he basically “saw” her first, she was “his”. Stu even talked with Harold about the situation. Of course, the supposed betrayal is when he was easily turned to the dark side.
Watched the first episode and the production is already taking liberties with the book. Not sure I’ll watch any more of it. Stick to the production that was made years ago.
