Rev. Billy Graham had a similar personal policy. After a sketchy encounter with a female groupie early in his ministry, Graham established protocols to ensure that he was never left alone with a woman other than his own wife. To the point that he even had his hotel rooms entered, and thoroughly searched by trained staff before he would consent to be left alone in the room. On at last one occasion I am told that Graham’s “First In” team discovered hookers planted in the room intending to put Rev. Graham into a compromising situation, and then go public with it. VP Pence is no Reverend Billy Graham, but employing strategies that prevent compromising situations seems simply a wise move.
Pence shouldn’t be meeting like that anyway.
