Does eagerly watching the ice freeze on Medicine Lake in MN count as growing? I have waited since last March to get out on the lake.
(I like to walk on the lake. With the snow, it’s not as slippery as the paths/sidewalks/roads)
As you know, there’s only 10-12 weeks of good lake ice.
Only ONE fall-through on the Madison lakes so far. That’s some sort of record, LOL!
Ice is slow to form this year - we’re all over the map as far as temps go. Very warm Fall, and now anywhere from teens to 40’s in a week. Goofy.
But - I’ll take it over sub-zero weeks on end, and feet of snow! :)
