As usual, they oversold it! 5” tops. Lots of interesting drifting, though.

Waiting for my coffee and meds to kick in, then out to shovel off the porch and the SEVEN landings up to the house (yeah, that’s going to be fun when I’m really old!) and a path to the barn...and then I get to do dog, mule and steer chores.

Oh, Joy! Oh, Happiness! LOL! Meh. I knew what I signed up for... ;)

Proud to have been a Worker Bee my whole life long. Happier to be Retired, of course! ;)

Noted & thanks. I also saw in some recipes a technique called “tempering” eggs to create puddings’ bases. I might try that route too... (I like to experiment with recipes - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t - hahaha.) Almost certainly I’ll try a less pricey sweetener. Ultimately, every extra dollar spent is less time that Mom can stay at home. In the new world of COVID (and maybe before), that’s probably her biggest risk.

My folks are 98 & 87 so I understand your concern about COVID. I live with them, which makes it possible for them to stay in their own house/10 acres; otherwise, they’d have to be in assisted living. I really “feel” for those separated from their loved ones, some in nursing homes & other situations can only wave from a distance. I also think it’s criminal to let old folks die alone, when they have loving families who want to be with them.

BTW, if your mom isn’t on Vit D3, get her on it. Even the elderly, if their Vit D levels are good, do better if they get COVID. New study just out - 80% of those with COVID have low D3 levels. Dr. Somadi (awesome twitter account - can see it even if no account yourself - HE should be the one the country listens to, not Fauxci) recommends 5,000 IU D3 taken with 100 mcg of Vit K2, 1000 mg Vit C, 400 mg magnesium, 50 mg of zinc. I was doing the D3 prior to COVID & have myself & the folks ‘ramped up’ on everything else. Best wishes - hope you, your mom & family stay healthy.

We probably shouldn’t get too cocky! We’re both going to get snowed in one of these weeks! Lots of Winter to go, yet...

...speaking of which, working on gathering information/links/pictures for our various thread ‘topics’ this Winter.

Planning to start those extra PINGS in the New Year - which is tomorrow, LOL!

Greetings from southern New Hampshire, where I am withholding any New Years greetings until I get some “terms and conditions” ironed out with 2021!

The weather pattern has enabled me to complete the RV site clearance, the setting up of the shed from the RV in our yard and the transfer of the box trailer contents either to the shed or my shop. The four gardening power tools, large and small tillers, edger and walk-behind mower are also safely stored for the winter in said shed. Next spring, I will hopefully have the new garden shed built and as we are not RVing anymore, we might be able to swing the pole bar which will form the “Garden-Tee” building we are dreaming about. Room to store one boat, the tractors and attachments, and lawn equipment.

Additionally, I reassembled the deck box that was used to store chair cushions at the RV site, on our back deck. More space for the Boss’s gardening stuff. I need to cut out a shelf for it, this afternoon.

I am amazed at what I was able to accomplish in a month, and in the part of the year where I shouldn’t have been able to get anything done!
