My most favorite sled run was starting at the top of the hill by my house. Asphalt road. Sled down it, pick up speed, jump the curb (We built a ramp) then sledding down this trail through the woods ending at the frozen creek which 30 feet later turned into the big creek. Made it all the way maybe twice. Better then a roller coaster. Flexable flyer. Long trek back.
