I believe this is the one speech the Queen gives a year that she and her staff writes themselves without any input from the government. It is amazing how sharp she is despite being 94 years old. In this speech she is very explicit about her Christian faith.

Says something about the complete mediocrity of American politicians not a single one of them can give a speech like this.

I respect the Queen more than any of our congress critters. She has class. Our critters are missing the c and the l.

Speaking of the British royal family, do we know yet whether or not her grandson is here in the US on a diplomatic visa in order to dodge US income taxes...?

Born & raised in Canada I remember the Queen addressing Great Britain & the Commonwealth on Christmas Day going back to the 1950's. Back then it was on the radio.
Yeah, I've been around awhile ... ;)

Christmas 2004 I was in China, watching TV, when all of a sudden they cut in for the Queen’s address.

Harry and his wife chose the wrong state to settle
down in if they wanted to avoid taxes. Gavin Newsom
and his Democrats have plans to financially rape
the citizens, businesses and even the visitors to
California.

Just started binge-watching “The Crown”, hard to believe she’s reigned for almost 70 years.

Also not to miss is the annual
Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from King's College, Cambridge.
This is more than entertainment. It is a choral chronological tour through scripture starting in the Old Testament, and which unfolds with the birth of Jesus.

The Queen epitomizes class. I’ve always liked her, though have not cared much for the rest of the royal family except perhaps for Prince Phillip, who mostly stays out of the limelight except where appropriate.
Personally, I think the entire idea of monarchs is somewhat silly, but if you’re going to have one, Queen Elizabeth the one you want.

Funny that 50 years after The Beatles called it a day with “Her Majesty”, she still reigns.

Thank you for posting this. You made my Christmas. Very inspiring, and the best thing I've watched this Christmas season.
