I know somebody who works for ATT out West maintaining emergency services communications for remote mountain areas. I think they had some radical environmentalist attacks on their facilities a few years ago, but environmentalists wouldn’t be the likely suspects in this case.
However, it’s a reminder that ATT installations have been targeted with bombings in the past and that they are locations that could be important to terrorists of one kind or another. This particular location in Nashville was unmarked, so they had tp know it was there in advance.
