According to Nashville PD, the bomb squad (”hazardous devices unit’) was called *before* the explosion. Definitely intentional.

Spouse told me of this. It looks like something Antifascists (cough Communists cough) would do. Set a bomb off to take notice but not hurt their fellow travelers. Nashville might be Music City but still enough trying to defy the governor in his unconstitutional lockdowns.

And/or it could be that they wanted it to go off later but the handler got spooked and set it off early.

I used to run a commercial production company on 2nd Avenue. That area by Hooters is certainly not the best choice for random terrorism, when busy Music Row is so close by - and at later hours. They’d best clear that city today.
