Wictor and Simon are among the few level and cooler heads that make sense. Most of what is out there right now is disinfo. Simon was saying that the people being in DC is a show of force. And so yes they ARE there for the Electors. That us what he was trying to say. I understood him. So I don't disagree with his assessment. The only thing I didn't like that he said was using the phrase "give democracy one last chance". That could have been chosen better, but he means the remainder of the electoral process.
Another thing, if you remove emotion from all of this, it won't bother you. That is to say, Byrnes disinfo hit a lot of people hard because they are emotionally attached to an idea or concept of what should happen. So if he is spreading, at least partial disinformation, it has been VERY effective. If anyone becomes depressed, that is emotional. An emotional response is what disinfo counts on. Deep game here. Trump is NOT stupid. and Byrnes is NOT stupid either, nor smarter than Trump, nor a Q insider.

Well said, and very true. My only quibble with Parkes is the assertion that the state legislators would be required to be in D.C. Even the electors don't normally show up in person. Their votes are delivered to Congress by couriers. But his sentiment, I fully agree with. The only legislators who will be there in person to witness the massive crowd, however, will be Congress. And that's a good thing, because Congress also will need to grow a spine or at least fear the repercussions if they don't.
