Well said, and very true. My only quibble with Parkes is the assertion that the state legislators would be required to be in D.C. Even the electors don't normally show up in person. Their votes are delivered to Congress by couriers. But his sentiment, I fully agree with. The only legislators who will be there in person to witness the massive crowd, however, will be Congress. And that's a good thing, because Congress also will need to grow a spine or at least fear the repercussions if they don't.

Yeah, that part was his opinion and not having full info of our process but he knows a lot more than most Legislators even. Which is sad.
