Fear is the mechanism through which control is exerted

Funny you say that — that’s been EXACTLY my impression lately. I walk down the sidewalk or on a local trail without a facemask and people see me coming. They stop, move way off the trail, move out into the street, put their heads down and tighten their masks, look away. In the past three days exactly ONE person had a nice smile and said “Hi.”

It is beyond bizarre. These kooks think the very atmosphere is poisoned with COVID poison gas all around us 24x7 no matter where you go.

It is indeed like shunning of dirty lepers.

They fought it and won? Then they are immune and no longer contagious. That is how it has always been with all other diseases. Oh yeah, I forgot. This COVID thing is not subject to the same immunological rules as all other diseases in human history.

This is very sad. I live in an over 55 community and some of my neighbors have not had contact with their children and grandchildren since before this madness began in March.

They leave bags of groceries by their door, ring the doorbell and LEAVE. They might wave from their cars as they drive away. Total madness.

So many people have allowed fear to control them.

Totally agree. I make deliveries for a local restaurant and most of the customers specify to “leave at the door”, “leave on the front doormat”, “leave on the table beside the door”, etc. It has been like this since March. My first and lasting impression was that it IS like delivering to a leper colony. Not all of them are like that thankfully but most of them are.

If they have recovered from covid why are you dropping off food at the door instead of going inside, delivering the goods, and maybe chat awhile. Are they requesting you drop it off at the door?

Please tell me your GF's name is not Karen.

The leader of my men's bible study group is a 77 year old diabetic.

He and his wife contracted the China virus somehow, they're both unsure how.

He and his wife both kicked the China virus' ass. He said the symptoms were pretty mild, he had colds and flu that were way worse (according to him.)

All he took to recover was Zinc, Vitamin D and Robitussin per his doctor's advice.

People have no idea how long the virus is active in a case. It’s most transmissible the day/s before symptoms appear and shortly after. Then T cells attack and kill it. In most cases the virus is dead in the 2nd week.

Have noticed a few people shy away from me as I recovered a couple weeks ago. In reality I’m one of the safest people to be around. For what it’s worth nobody else in my family of 5 caught it from me. Stayed in room and used separate bathroom. Air vents would have passed it throughout house had it been airborne.

test run for how they desire to treat people who won’t wear the ribbon (ie get the vax)

so many people are just itchimg to be able to treat them badly because the fearsteria has worked on them, and they are not nice folks to begin with

great excuse to be assh0les to people they are told are awful and stupid for not submitting to the vax

So at about hour ten of a twelve hour drive to my mother in laws, where we’re staying for a week, she called to let us know she just found out she’d been exposed to the wuhan Red Death.

We chose to continue with our visit.
