What basis is December 23rd a deadline?
Trump won and I think he’ll win officially as well.
However, I hope Pence is put on the spot here so that his true colors come out. If he’s a Patriot in form but a Politician in substance, which I think he is, then Trump and everyone else will see it, Pence gets the boot, and the REAL 2024 successor (if not Trump himself) is chosen who will continue to carry the fight to the Delusional Lying Left for the restoration of our Free Constitutional Republic.

With all seriousness, if there is a plan I hope it’s a good one and that it does not tarry too long. It’s a war for the soul of the country (and by extension, the world), and I really hope those are the helm know what they’re doing to stop electoral malfeasance since Jan 20th creeps ever closer.

If there is going to be a BOOM, that is when it is likely to happen. I'm not a constitutional scholar but I'm assuming the Trump folks know what they are doing.
Anyone doubting that Trump has a plan to secure his rightful re-election, I recommend you watch the two speeches he put out last night (available in the BREAKING NEWS sidebar).
One speech was a masterful tear-down of the bogus COVID relief act he plans to veto. In the other speech, Trump laid out in detail the blatant election fraud that the Democrats perpetrated and reiterated his constitutional duty to the people to ensure a fair election.
Those are not the actions of a President who has meekly accepted his fate and who plans to sneak out of Washington on Jan 20th. I assure you, that is NOT happening.
Everybody have a nice Christmas with family and let Trump play out his plan. I will be in Washington DC on Jan 6 and hope to meet other Freepers there as well.
Something popped into my head just now. (Yes, it’s going to be speculation only). :-)
Let’s say, hypothetically, that the electors from the disputed states are rejected, causing Pres. Trump to be given his rightful second term. If so, the Left will, IMHO, seek vengeance on Pence. In that event, him leaving for Israel the very next day would be a wise move.
The poster and speaker in the video is “TenNapel”. In a recent posting, he titled his video “Georgia moves to DECERTIFY Election Results!”. Of course, it turns out that was quite misleading as was much of the content of the video (eg: he said that the Georgia Senate had issued a report recommending decertification. Not so. The Georgia Senate STUDY SUBCOMMITTEE OF THE STANDING SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE released a report on December 17. While it may have made recommendations, they don’t count as a “move to DECERTIFY” and they are not Georgia or the Georgia Senate moving either.
I haven’t seen his material before but if that is any indication, I would take his posts with a substantial grain of salt. He may have good intentions but fluffing up stories (BOMBSHELL!!!!) with inaccurate headlines and claims doesn’t help anyone who is seriously trying to understand this complicated situation. Meanwhile, pray for Donald Trump and our ultimate victory over lies and cheating.
If he doesn’t get up, how is he gonna pull Christmas shopping out of his butt?

I’m dubious on whether the VP really has this authority. I think if he does this, it’ll end up in SOCTUS, which is fine.

Yea, we may not find out that he did this until SoS’ in the states in question start throwing fits. If he’s literally just mailing these notices via certified mail and staying quiet, they probably won’t be received until after Christmas.

No offense, but 90% of videos on You tube have the production value of a small town local access broadcast. A lot of people don’t want to listen to the videos when there can be well written, sourced documents that present the information in a quick one minute read.

Yeah. I meant the markets are open tomorrow anyway so does it matter if it is today or tomorrow that it affects markets?
I get why its easy to be cynical. Been there. Trump hasn’t conceded which says to me he’s still got something going. He obviously had plans well past today, he’s been pushing his rally that was announced well before today. Harris hasn’t resigned her Senate seat yet which says the Dems know it’s not over. The media is going crazy, and not from happiness.
Court cases still being pursued, including filing with SCOTUS under a different article of the Constitution to get around the “standing” problem. This is mainly to get the info in front of the public, not to win the cases (my theory, I know) I know people who have decided all is lost. I’m not going to be defeated until my President is defeated. I wouldn’t leave my commanding officer alone on the field of battle either. The worst that can happen is I’ll spent a bit less of my remaining life defeated.
Jan 8 is the ‘act or drop dead’ day. Pence acting alone now would be bad optics. I have said all along nothing would happen with Pence today. Pence plus multiple Representatives and Senators acting together will look much better. Also, more info is coming out daily that strengthens the case.
I am more entertained with each passing day, and each passing day is a minus for Dems. I bet they are quite nervous by now. We’ve got nothing to lose, we aren’t supposed to win.
I give up when Trump does and until then, it’s all good, I’m cool. If he gives up, I’ve got one friend talking Costa Rica (it is nice there, and cheap). I know an area of Italy where the govt is far away, stays away and is laughed at, and we’ll worry about all that when we need to, like my grandparents did under Mussolini when they escaped Italy by coming to the USA.
A lot of people have been asleep, but many are now waking up. Keep rocking. There is no quit in an American!
