Thank you!! The Lord is my shepherd!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!! Rush has been a blessing to all of us who were lucky enough to find him, during times of our lives when we needed him most. I see Donald Trump’s election in the same light, and I pray the Lord will not forsake us, and that he will allow our Republic to prevail, and survive for many more years.
The first time I heard of him was when leftwads on my local BBS in Japan started calling me a “Limbot.” I had no idea what they meant.
I think I have disagreed with him a couple of times, and it always turned out he had it right.
Like so many of us, until I discovered Rush I thought I was the last survivor of Fort Nowhere. Dan’s Bake Sale was an epiphany. I wish I could shake his hand and thank him. What a great man.
But in 1993, I began to drive home from A&M, I had Friday classes that let out at noon, and I listened to Rush and Alan Combes (who were both on WTAW - back to back). I hated Rush...at first.
However - it didn't take too long for me to realize - the guy that supported my party - was all emotion and no facts. The guy to supported the republican party - was all facts - sound bites - and logic - and did not argue from emotions. Being a scientist (as a meteorologist) - that was up my ally.
I owe my conservatism to Rush. It drove my parents CRAZY. However - over time - my mom became a bigger conservative that I. Why?

Started listening to him back in Sacramento in 86. Today was very difficult When he said he thought he had failed us by not educating “ the other side”re the danger they have put this country in( paraphrasing), that really made me cry. I also think he was saying goodbye.

I gathered from Rush’s signoff that he may not be able to continue his hosting of his program. His time here may be limited but not necessarily imminent. Rush has certainly become a fixture in our society and from the first day I heard him years ago I felt that he was a kindred spirit. He grew up in a time when American culture was at it’s best. God, Family, and Country were an integral part of our American life. He benefited from all that America has to offer and has endeavored to inform the young people as well as all ages of what we have and what we will lose if the communists. in all of their iterations, are enabled to take over and destroy this Republic. I am grateful for all that Rush has done for us and his absence will be personal to our family. We continue to pray for Rush and his loved ones. We love you Rush and thank you for being a spokesman for us and America.

by the time of the 2nd Reagan run, I was in....Rush just cemented it for me...I finally found out what my true feelings were...

She was frustrated with the comments about "what are YOU going to do about it?"
She said that if the PRESIDENT of the United States can't get any traction, can't get any court to look at the evidence, can't get the Republicans on his side to back him up, then what is SHE expected to do about it?
It's a legitimate sentiment, to feel so powerless when the supposed "most powerful office in the world" can't get the proper authorities to do their jobs fairly.
