I had problems getting started on this one. Took me about 10 minutes coming back to it several times. Then it went quickly.

Started with author’s middle name and the first word. Fourth word was obvious and gave a hint to the 11th word.
My best memory is when Santa left a “Buche de Noel” outside our door. The most confusing was when I received a bag of granola. OK, that’s funny now.
11:59.06 (Needless to say, I got hung up on this one, too.) I initially “knew” what the “Q” in JZQQZQ was but had trouble seeing the solution. Kind of a downer of a quote.
Well I finally got it. After my walk it occurred to me what the last word is, and the whole quote unfolded.
