The fruitcake actor who portrays a ‘theoretical physicist’ in that ridiculously stupid Big Bang Theory tv series does not even approach being a convincing one. Whoever put that dopey series together hasn’t a clue about the field of theoretical physics. Most are no doubt Libs, but none that I’m aware of are such feminine, obviously gay, girly men like him.

I love the show. I am not a theoretical physicist so I don't give a crap about minor flaws that I don't catch. I loved Fringe and would imagine they played lose with physics, but I wouldn't know. I was in law enforcement but I still let slide minor violations of the legal variety if they are not over the top. I want to be entertained. I don't even mind that there is no Ironman, Thor, Aqua-man, Superman, Batman,.......they are just entertainment.

As for Sheldon, he was really asexual until he ended up with a wife. They did not push the fact he is gay. And the other characters are great as are the reoccurring guest (Cathy Bates, Teller, Bob Newhart,....)

Everyone has their likes and dislikes. About the only shows I have liked recently are Big Bang and Last Man Standing. But that's just me.
