FWIW, I go to lots of shows at bars featuring unsigned punk, progressive, metal, and alternative bands. To be sure, there are plenty of leftists. But there are a goodly amount of right-minded and outright Deplorable folks at such gigs. I learned that not every tatted gal or pierced guy is an Antifa loser. They tend to get lumped in with that crowd.

My personal experience is MOST of these folks just want to be left alone, and a healthy chunk of them want to do their thing without a handout or interference from govt.
