I think Rush has focused well on the likes of Bill Kristol. For years, like a carnival side show barker, Kristol and Fred Barnes and the Weekly Standard crowd lured conservative initiates on to cruises to learn more from the insiders about how Washington works. I can imagine what was taught.
When the Do-Something candidate came along to fulfill their stated dreams - they switched to Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. How else to explain this conundrum except that they were carnival side show barkers leading unsuspecting initiates - like the Pied Piper led the town youths - astray?
Once exposed they just became empty suits.
