Sounds like Trump plans on staying in the White House for awhile
There would be no reason to appoint people to these positions unless the president was absolutely sure he would be serving a second term.

Wait...didn’t most of these domestic non-profits get a schiff-load of COVID money?

I was thinking the same. Does an outgoing president normally appoint people to new positions weeks away from the new president being inaugurated?
Most of these seem to be advisory council positions. Does being in such a position render a peron unable to work in another capacity in the administration?

Quite the opposite, sadly. These are all term positions. They'll stay on in these positions no matter who is inaugurated on Jan 20, 2021.
Most of these councils and committees are so Sovietish and swampish basically unaccountable,influence peddlers and backed by big money donors.
This looks like news, yet I don’t see it reported on CNN or Huffpost or MSNBC, lol. So I suppose this isn’t normal for an outgoing President. It’s either an indication that Trump knows something, or he’s just trying to rattle the lefties.
