The General Assembly finds that the electorate of the state overwhelmingly ratified an amendment to the Constitution of Georgia at the general election in November, 1978, authorizing the General Assembly to provide by general law for uniform and exclusive procedures to recall public officials who hold elective office and to repeal all local recall laws and prohibit the future enactment of any local recall laws. In furtherance of the mandate of the electorate, by this general law the General Assembly establishes uniform and exclusive procedures relating to the recall of all state and local officials who hold elective office.

A friend’s daughter voted in person in the general election and received unsolicited 3 more ballots.
And the legislature did nothing about a special session to tighten up the voting laws. They are dead men walking, politically speaking.
I think our only hope is for Joe Mancin to do as he promised, and not vote for packing the Supreme Court, making 2 new states and 20 million new citizens.

You should be aware that the Republicans in Georgia only go back one generation. Those roots are not very deep. A vast number of our so called Republicans became so as a quick way to get ahead of their Democrat opponents instead of slogging through a primary.My former Congressman, Newt Gingrich, was from Pennsylvania and settled here when his step-father was transferred to Fort Benning, Georgia while serving with the US Army. When Gingrich was elected to Congress in 1974, he was one of two Republican Congressmen in the delegation.

Handing the keys to the kingdom to China-backed (or -blackmailed) Leftists on a freaking silver platter, as you seem to think best, isn’t exactly a recipe for success, is it? ***PERHAPS*** in normal times you punish the RINOs in this manner, but we do not live in anything even approaching normal times.
We have a huge problem in this country after decades of mass cradle to grave indoctrination, especially when combined with traditional Republican cowardice: we are on the verge of a literal Communist revolution not much different than the 2-stage one in Russia a century ago. This circular firing squad crap is simply not going to work - quite to the contrary, it guarantees failure. In this case, failure is NOT defined as losing a couple of Senate seats or even the Senate itself for a limited time; no, in this case failure means the end of the Republic itself, quite possibly (if history is a guide, and it usually is) gulags and literally tens of millions of deaths. Given that this is what history teaches (and I know that history well, having grown up listening to stories from a grandfather who ran from the USSR in the early 20s, whose own father was murdered by the NKVD), I would rather gamble one last time on the soft, elitist sacks of shit that at least offer us some modest degree of hope, instead of acting precipitously due to anger and guaranteeing a Soviet-style government.
We need to buy time - the time necessary to convince enough people about what a disaster the Leftist would be for this country, and to begin the process of building hard-core support for not merely holding the line, but taking back territory. Your way doesn’t allow for that, it does exactly what the Dems and China want, it ends the USA as we have known it.
The USA has already ended as we once knew it, look around for crying out loud, our churches are closed, free speech has been squashed, censorship has taken over our media AND social media, our businesses have been shut down UNLESS the government deems a business fit to stay open, our elections are fraudulent IN YOUR FACE fraudulent, there is NO LONGER equal justice in this country AND there is not ONE DAMN THING electing these two RINO senators are going to do to change a damn thing!!

I share your view that the Republic is dead, or at least mortally wounded. I am just not ready to hand the keys to the kingdom to our enemies on a silver platter. We need to buy time, by whatever means necessary, because a huge battle is coming when the Dems take off the mask and people finally understand it. Our best move is to make as many understand it ASAP, before the other side makes it almost impossible for us to effectively stop them.
