I had a Bonnyville once upon a time.
I took my motorcycle license test on a mid-1950’s 650 Twin Matchless. The engine was so smooth, idle was so low, and the center of gravity was so low that I could do the pylon course at aboout 1/2mph. The inspector was so impressed that he walked the course along side of me, asking questions about the bike instead of about the test.
Naturally I passed ;’}
The only problem was that the magneto was on the fritz and I barely had enough juice to make it home before the battery died.
