SOMETHING is blowing your way because the wind is just HOWLING, today! We were close to 50 degrees and now rain and maybe snow is blowing in. You can have all the snow you want, LOL!
I harvested the remaining lettuces in the greenhouse - proud of myself that I made it nearly to Christmas Day, but I’m over it now. ;) I have basil and more lettuces going inside.
Christmas Menu for Saturday will be:
Baked Halibut (Beau caught in Alaska this summer)
Shrimp Scampi
Green Beans with Bacon (from the garden)
Twice Baked Potatoes (from the garden)
Rolls (Mom is bringing)
Christmas Cookies & Peppermint Ice Cream (Sis is bringing ice cream; Mom & I did cookies)
Sis said she got the LAST container of Peppermint at Walmart the other day; there must’ve been a run on it and TP, LOL!
So, not exactly ‘The Feast Of Seven Fishes,’ but good enough for our crew.
Beau is delivering boxes of cookies and presents for me around the neighborhood this afternoon - he’s so sweet.
Having a Zoom Meeting with my BFFs of 40 years in a bit to open our gifts to one another; some were mailed and some CJ shuttled around for us, yesterday.
Life Is Good, even though 2020 SUCKED and I cannot WAIT to see it GO!
Merry Christmas to You & Yours! :)
Sounds delicious. We love twice bakers, hubby makes some mean ones. You need a forklift. Loaded with everything, bacon, onions, cheese. Halibut is a favorite fish after grouper and salmon. Merry Christmas to you too!
