... Justices ... 6 is more than 3, and 5 is more than than 4. So technically, they don't need Roberts's vote.

But 6 other Justices sided with leftist Roberts against Texas and against President Trump. Only Alito & Thomas said they'd hear the case but they also mumbled something about how they wouldn't grant any of the requested relief. (So what good are they, anyway?)

The riots excuse is worn thin. Guess what, Gang of Nine? There will be riots and burning and looting, no matter WHAT the outcome. Trump prevails? They'll riot. Biden steal allowed to stand? They'll riot. And if SCOTUS & "the establishment" continue to crap on 75-80 million Americans, there's likely to be a whole lot more bad stuff going on than a few riots.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The violent Marxist BLM/Antifa wild thug mob riot organization has learned a valuable lesson during this 2020 election year: It can do anything it wants without law enforcement reaction or legal repercussion.

There, I feel better. :-)

Glad you do, because I don't feel better. Things are getting "progressively" worse in the U.S.

Yes, but remember -- so does a boil just before it's lanced.

Eew, that was kind of gross. Gross but true. :-)

Oh I'm with you there. What I meant (but didn't say very well) was regarding other cases that are currently on the USSC docket. The Gang of Nine could very well vote the exact same way on all cases .... but in light of the widespread outrage over their treatment of the Texas lawsuit, some of them may (yes, I'm only speculating) be experiencing a smidgen of regret. Good way to try to salvage some shred of their former reputations might be ruling differently on one or more of the other cases on the docket.

Ah well. If "if"s grew on trees, I wonder if they'd be green? :-)
