Those areas on 80 can develop “black ice” without recognition.
80 elevates, gradual black ice
And cannot be felt until the slightest braking. Too late.

There’s a section along that stretch of highway that is marked as the highest point on I-80 east of the Mississippi River. In some ways it’s worse than driving over the Rocky Mountains because the location south and east of the Great Lakes makes for very frequent precipitation.
