Thanks posting this.
A year ago, when I probably had the Rona, I basically lost my sense of smell and taste.
We have an auto timed combo coffee grinder and brewer. It goes off 5:25 am every morning. My wife, 5 minutes later could smell the coffee aroma and I never did for a couple of months post Rona. A couple of months ago, I started smelling and tasting the coffee again.
I usually have a wine glass of Sangria with my dinner. Only recently has that great aroma/taste returned for me.
My normal body temp was/is 98. During the event, last year.
My temp was a mild 99 for about the first week. Since, then, my, so called normal has been 97 with cold feet/hands off and on during the day and a hot flash after being in bed at night for about 30-45 minutes. I have never had cold hands/feet before, unless I was outside in the cold.
It seems that some of my autonomic neural pathways had some temporary negative impacts with the Rona.
Had Rona a couple weeks ago. Noticed My temp alternated 1-1.5 high, and low. Also went through chills and sweats. But I thought it was the battery thermometer.
“and a hot flash after being in bed at night for about 30-45 minutes.”
I’m also noticing hot flashes at night and I don’t understand it. But it definitely isn’t menopause!
Also, limb pain at night (like flu — indistinct aching in thighs) has continued sporadically since I thought I had covid in Feb/Mar. So if this sensory or CNS pain is a CoVid long-haul symptom, not limited to just autonomic nervous system.
