I’m not sure any past civil upheaval would have still occurred if they had our current societal conditions. We have amazing conditions like the poorest are the most likely to be obese and are the most passively entertained poor ever. As well as everyone being the least used to sustained physical labor than at any other time in history. It’s like some ridiculous sci-fi dystopia but it’s our reality.

Suffice to say I no longer recognize the country I grew up in. Its just not the same place. And you’re right; its become dystopian. Lots of reasons why but not sure it really matters since there’s no way to turn it around short of freedom loving people going their own way.
The Passives can stay where they are and live under the “comfortable” rule of Leftist despots. I would be happy to make some sacrifices to live amongst the Actives who want to protect their liberty and freedoms, and are willing to take extraordinary steps to protect them.
