Sounds like Tom takes his job seriously, knows how much it will cost if they get shut down.

I would get pissed if some employees thought nothing of breaking the rules and endangered the whole production.

Sounds like a good thing all the butthurt babies left

Agreed.

It’s probably 200-300 people that would lose their job if production was shut down. A $200mil enterprise?

And Cruise is the producer putting up the money.

And 5 quit?

See ya.

Wrong-o
No way in hell a high profile/budget Tom Cruise production would even come close to being shut down for ‘social distancing’.

This was ALL small man Cruise being a SuperKaren, because he could.

Cruise is only about money after all, and hypocrites such as yourself have clearly never managed people.

All he had to do was calmly walk up to those he deemed not following the rules and have security take those he pointed to directly off the set (fired).

No juvenile rant or money-grubbing conniption fit: Solid, effective leadership.

Cruise is no leader: He’s a Scientologist who cares absolutely nothing about his staff/crew, only his paycheck.

What a crock. Very sad to see so many sheeple choosing to live in fear & panic.
And the height of hypocrisy is screaming & humiliating people for not wearing face diapers that have been proven ineffective so he can pocket another $20 million.
Tom Cruise doesn’t give a shit about anything but his next paycheck!
And why is every business shut down except Hollywood? If this virus is as deadly as it’s pretended to be Hollywood must also shut down.
And the butt hurt hypocrites can kiss my ass. Especially the cultist cruise.
Wake up. You’re deceived.

are all Tom’s scenes employing social distancing?

are they wearing masks during the filming?

i mean, this is serious stuff

covid doesn’t just stop being around and inhaled when the director says “action”

is it really worth making a fictitious little movie ifnsomeone gets covid and dies?

i mean, if it saves just one life to have all the actors wearing masks and staying six feet apart

“Sounds like Tom takes his job seriously, knows how much it will cost if they get shut down.”

And AFAIK it’s HIS money. Why do people here have an objection to this? A breakout of illness could threaten the project, hurting a lot more people than just Cruise.

Even people who don’t think masks work must believe that distance does.

I personally don’t think masks of the type that the public wears helps much if at all medically but it does remind people to keep their distance.

I would make a guess that he has some financial input to the movie....maybe ten to twenty million, and just a simple delay of a week, could eat up three-million easily. If you had a snowball effect, going up to a month...that could be ten-million easily wasted.

For those who want to argue that it’s not necessary, any kind of stupid breach on rules could have legal implications, and I seriously doubt if any insurance company covers events like this. So it’s cash straight out of your pocket.

It’s normal for people to take immediate offense to being called out for not doing their job. Slackers never think they are actually slacking. At least, they never admit to it. I see no purpose in pussyfooting around with slackers either, it’s a waste of time, I already know how they’ll react when confronted.

It’s Tom Cruise’ job to oversee the production of MI7, and those people knew the rules going in. It’s not the job of Mission Impossible crew to march on the British Parliament and take it over and reverse Covid restrictions.

I don’t know how a hair dresser—wardrobe person or make up person can do their job from 6 feet away.
