Five crew members on the Mission: Impossible set have reportedly quit after Tom Cruise had a second furious rant.
It had been claimed on Tuesday the actor, 58, gave staff an X-rated dressing down after he caught them breaking UK Covid rules at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.
Now a source has said that after news of the first outburst was made public, there has been 'more anger' at the already 'tense' production, reports The Sun.
The insider said: 'Tension has been building for months and this was the final straw. Since it became public there has been more anger and several staff have walked.
'But Tom just can't take any more after all the lengths they have gone to just to keep filming at all. He's upset others aren't taking it as seriously as him.'
They added it is Tom who feels responsible for the production after putting so much time and money into ensuring precautions are in place so the team can film.
MailOnline has contacted Tom Cruise's representatives for a comment.
It was previously reported that the Hollywood star scolded workers who flouted social distancing rules while filming at Warner Bros. Studios.
Invoking the no-nonsense attitude of his character, Ethan Hunt, the actor is said to have told them 'If I see you doing it again, you're f***ing gone,' according to The Sun.
The paper said the dressing down was recorded on an audio tape, in which he is heard to add: 'And if anyone in this crew does it, that's it — and you too and you too.
'And you, don't you ever f***ing do it again. We are not shutting this f***ing movie down.'

Karen Cruise.
The American actor was reportedly angered after seeing the pair stood less than a metre away from each other ...
... while reviewing the scene they just shot on a monitor.
Just finishing the sentence for the lazy Daily Mail reporter.
This is what members of a film crew do. Often it’s more than two checking the take. It will take forever to finish the film if everybody has to keep six feet away from each other.
Cruise would be better off directing his anger at the people imposing these ridiculous health protocols.
Is Tom kin to Ted? Asking for a friend...
Agreed.
It’s probably 200-300 people that would lose their job if production was shut down. A $200mil enterprise?
And Cruise is the producer putting up the money.
And 5 quit?
See ya.
RE: Is Tom kin to Ted? Asking for a friend...
Does your friend know how to differentiate the spelling of words?
Tom Cruise is and always has been an asshole.
Wrong-o
No way in hell a high profile/budget Tom Cruise production would even come close to being shut down for ‘social distancing’.
This was ALL small man Cruise being a SuperKaren, because he could.
It’s interesting that the leftist press suddenly defends irrational COVID protocols when it’s against an evil 1%’er.
Almost as if this flu isn’t real...
I agree.
Tom Cruise or Tom Karen?
Tom Cruise’s mistake is that he didn’t hire someone else to yell at the crew for him.
Wow, still using audio tape! Even I finally switched to digital about 10 years ago.
Cruise is only about money after all, and hypocrites such as yourself have clearly never managed people.
All he had to do was calmly walk up to those he deemed not following the rules and have security take those he pointed to directly off the set (fired).
No juvenile rant or money-grubbing conniption fit: Solid, effective leadership.
Cruise is no leader: He’s a Scientologist who cares absolutely nothing about his staff/crew, only his paycheck.
In the article the last photo shows him in a car with an actress and she is touching him. Neither are wearing masks.
What a crock. Very sad to see so many sheeple choosing to live in fear & panic.
And the height of hypocrisy is screaming & humiliating people for not wearing face diapers that have been proven ineffective so he can pocket another $20 million.
Tom Cruise doesn’t give a shit about anything but his next paycheck!
And why is every business shut down except Hollywood? If this virus is as deadly as it’s pretended to be Hollywood must also shut down.
And the butt hurt hypocrites can kiss my ass. Especially the cultist cruise.
Wake up. You’re deceived.
Why is it ok that every other business is shut down but it’s fine for Hollywood remain open?
Can’t wait for this answer. Be sure to call Dear Tom so he can wow you with his medical knowledge & self-righteous bullshit.
Congratulations, you support an arrogant, vastly overpaid, pampered vapid devotee of a cult.
Agreed.
Personally, I don't think the nanny state should be 'allowing' them to film if they are closing churches. It's all a matter of who has money.
On one of the previous mission impossible movies, guys from Tom Cruise’s Staff, or whatever, we’re doing site advance In an area I worked. I assigned a guy to accompany them while they examined the area, he told me that the entire time the two guys were extremely agitated and kept referring to the f’ing midget, which he learned to be Tom Cruise.
