“ Whitle Pig Rye Whiskey. At $80 per bottle, it’s my only request for a birthday or Christmas present.”
I’m sure you mean Whistle Pig. I have a bottle signed by the (now deceased) original master distiller.
That one’s not getting opened.
Actually my favorite.
Preferably the 120 proof single barrel.
Also good. And I’ll add Balvenie Caribbean Cask.
If you insist, I’ll try it!
The bottle for my Wake, is Pappy Van Winkle,15 yo

When I drank, Maker’s Mark. I would drink the Woodford if they didn’t serve MM. Now that I can’t drink, I was thinking of trying some non-alcohol drinks. Has anyone tried them?
No Whistlepig, Talisker, Balcones or Wolfburn?
Yep, Bud Light is my go to.
Why ‘stick’ when there is so much adventure out there? :)
21? $3k per bottle?
Play enough black tie dance gigs, one can find a lot of the blue Crown Royal bags after everyone leaves. And several half or more full bottles.
Several of us kept necks, mouthpieces, etc. in those bags.
Too many to choose from.
Because I usually have bad luck with wine and alcohol recommendations. Most of the time I don’t like whatever is being touted.
More like $180. However my BiL has some Glenfiddich18 ($90). I’m going to avail myself of his hospitality soon.
Get some Paisano then. At $15 per gallon you can’t go wrong.
Dad’s Hat Rye (several varieties)...NJ distillery
Blantons
Pinhook...ryes and bourbons
High West...bourbons and ryes
Old Granddad 114
Chevas Regal 18 year
Dalmore
Oban
I could go on and on. Being retired, having a few bucks and liking a good sip isn’t a bad thing...
Cheers to all. Merry Christmas!!!
Had one on my microscope at work LOL
Yep. Trying to type over cats results in errors. :-)
Flaviar club will let you sample different juices. My wife got it for me last Christmas. I love it.
Stayed in a Whiskey, Whisky, Bourbon themed hotwl about a year ago. In the bar they had hundreds of different juices. Was amazing just sitting back by the fire doung all sorts of 2oz sampling.
