A lot of conservatives missed the boat on this one, perhaps because the implications are pretty dire for the modern Western way of life.
There was an uproar online this week after a man who calls himself "Zinnia Jones" and demands that everyone consider him a female wrote a few tweets regarding minors taking drugs to make themselves somewhat ape the opposite sex.
Jones wrote:
If children can't consent to puberty blockers which pause any permanent changes even with the relevant professional evaluation, how can they consent to the permanent and irreversible changes that come with their own puberty with no professional evaluation whatsoever? Aside from this being completely insane, how is this any less harmful than intentionally getting a child addicted to opioids?

Every state that can needs to put this up for a referendum vote. “All children must be put on puberty blockers.” Yes or No.
Maybe THIS would get the voters to realize how demented the liberals are.

So... according to this guy(?)’s logic, children should be starved from birth because they might not be ready for food. And they shouldn’t be allowed to breathe because they may not be emotionally ready for oxygen.
